PLATINUM EXPRESS RECORDS

Platinum Express Records of the Cayman Islands was formed in 1977; the brainchild of childhood friends Errol Watler, Charles (Greg) Gregory and Charles (Lammie) Seymour. Watler's music business experience began in 1970 when he opened what is now the #1 music store in the Cayman Islands, Funky Tang's Ltd. His partners, Gregory and Seymour, are essential members of the popular Memory Of Justice Band. "Greg" Gregory is the label's A & R Director and is responsible for all signings to the label.

Created to produce music catering to the international market, Platinum Express has been phenomenally successful, scoring numerous Top Ten singles and several # 1 records on the international charts. With a roster that reads like a Who's Who of popular island music, Platinum Express boasts among its artists the Memory Of Justice Band, Marvelous-9, Brent McLean, Greggie G, P.J. Porter, Lammie, and Big Al Downing.

For the last five years, representatives of the label have attended the annual MIDEM Conference in Cannes, France and have successfully licensed product to Chris Blackwell's Palm Label and Primrose Publishing Company of Italy. Platinum Express has music featured on an upcoming DVD featuring various artists and is actively pursuing more film licensing projects.

Watler and his friends are approaching 2003 with excitement. Upcoming releases include:

· The just-completed Big Al Downing CD, ONE OF A KIND, featuring 14 new tracks from the R & B/Country great.

· Marvelous-9's upcoming CD, YAH MAN. The music is an engaging blend Dance Hall Reggae and Hip-Hop.

· Brent McLean's as-yet-to-be-named CD, featuring his unique Dance Hall Soca music. Very popular in the Eastern Caribbean, it is a mixture of Calypso fused with Dance Hall Reggae.
