Of Justice

"Reggae Music with an International Flavor"

A successful Caribbean reggae band, MEMORY OF JUSTICE, has opened for such big names as Third World, Steel Pulse, Chaka Khan, Richie Stevens, Marcia Griffiths, Bryon Lee and the Dragonnaires.
The band has worked with Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespare who produced their first Number One hit "Me and Ma Crew". The song stayed at Number One on the Jamaican charts for 10 consecutive weeks and went on to be nominated for Song of the Year.
The MEMORY OF JUSTICE band has recorded and release five albums, all of which were released on the band's own independent label, Platinum Express Records. In fact, the band's CD "Songs from the Crib" has spured them on to release the single "Jamming in the Park", which is enjoying frequent airplay in Jamaica and other Caribbean islands.

After listening to UB40's "Labor of Love" CD, the band got hooked up with the producers from the Elephant House Sound Laboratory in Birmingham, England to produce MOl's latest CD entitled "Life".
Thirty years of polishing musical skills, and the band has been left with one insatiable thirst for an international audience and the big times they're ready for the millennium!
What makes this band from the Cayman Islands so unique?

The smoky richness of lead singer, Lambert Seymour's voice is undeniable. He sings with a soulfulness that is reminiscent of such greats as Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson and Otis Redding.
Their music, described by the band as "reggae fusion" is a melting pot of varied styles, set against a backdrop as diverse as ska and Mowtown. Terms like pop reggae and new wave reggae have been in reviews of the band's music. While driving syncopated bassline dominate their dance songs, smooth silky riffs and the laid-back style of the tropics are paramount in their folksy island ballads.
